“What are you looking at?”: Man shot dead on Manhattan street for looking at someone

Police are searching for suspect after he opened fire on person he felt looked at him the wrong way.

A man was shot dead on Sunday for reportedly looking at a stranger the wrong way.

29-year-old Akeem White was killed in the Kips Bay area of Manhattan around 4.30 am, according to police.

The incident took place near 330 East 26th Street, according to a report by local news station WABC.

The gunman was said to have asked White, “What are you looking at?” before shooting him on the spot, according to another report from local NBC station 4 News.
